Theodore Joseph "Ted" Saska
Theodore Joseph “Ted” Saska, 79, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at his home.
Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late John and Anna Orsag Saska.
Ted was a 1956 graduate of Scott High School and was employed at Lukens Steel Company for 52 years as an inspector.
Ted loved all sports, especially basketball, which he played in his earlier years. He loved to travel. His pride and joy was his Red Buick that he bought recently. He belonged to the Polish Club, Moose Lodge and Planet Fitness Gyn.
Surviving him are two sisters, Ann Saska Hamilton (Robert) and Julia Saska Potpinko; seven nieces and nephews and 13 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Julian and sister, Augusta Saska.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Monday, January 15, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Church, 404 Charles St., Coatesville.
Relatives and friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., on Monday at the Harris Mountain Funeral & Cremation Service, 1030 E. Lincoln Hwy., Coatesville.
Interment will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Coatesville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, P. O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
